Kimberley [ Workshop ]

3rd-17th August 1997

Kimberley, the first Western Australia International Artists' Workshop was held at Birdwood Down Station, Derby, about 1500 miles north of Perth. Amongst the 18 artists at the workshop, 8 were from Botswana, UK, Thailand and Indonesia and the remainder were from Australia. It was the first workshop linked to the Triangle network to take place in Australia.

Burragorang [ Workshop ]

Burragorang International Artists' Workshop took place at Chant’s Hut, Burragorang Valley, New South Wales, Australia. This is the third workshop linked to the Triangle Network to take place in Australia, following Kimberley (1997) and Dingo Flats (2001). The Working Group of Australian artists organising the workshop included Sue Pedley, Effie Vouris, Peter Boyd, Alison Clouston and Lynn Collins. Burragorang invited 25 artists to participate, over half from Australia.

Dingo Flat [ Workshop ]

28th January - 11th February 2001

The Second Western Australian International Artists' Workshop was held at Dingo Flat farm, Tingledale, Walpole. 25 artists from different parts of Australia, Asia, Africa, Europe and the Caribbean participated.

During the workshop artists worked directly with the environment by using available raw materials at the farm.

On the last day of the workshop an Open Day was held at the farm, which was followed by an exhibition at the John Curtin Gallery, Perth.
