Hweilan [ Workshop ]
Hweilan is an international artists' workshop in Hualien, one of the most unspoilt regions in Taiwan. The first workshop in 2003 brought together international and Taiwanese artists in 14-day workshops at the Pine Grove Centre.
The second Hweilan workshop was held in 2005 at the Shihtiping Visitor Centre, the East Coast National Science Area Administration, and Fire Studio. The third workshop in 2006 was held in an old tobacco factory in the heart of Hualien.
