Ngoma [ Workshop ]
Since 1997 Ngoma has organised both local and international workshops. The Ugandan workshop was based at Namasagali College, and the international workshops take place at the Buluba Leprosy Centre near Lake Victoria about 150 km from Kampala. The Leprosy Centre, which is an active institution looking after a decreasing number of lepers in their care, provided a challenging environment for the workshop.
Ngoma's programme of residencies and events in Kampala is coordinated by a working group of artists.
